If you need to take an exam, CBUS offers on-site exam proctoring on the third Thursday of every month from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Therefore, you will need to schedule your start time accordingly. To schedule an on-site exam, send an email to academics@cbusedu.org. In the email, provide your name, the date you intend to take the exam, the course name, and whether the exam is a mid-term or final exam.
For all exams that are not proctored at the CBUS campus, you must complete your exam by CBUS approved proctor.
CBUS Approved Proctors
You can identify a proctor candidate from the following list of role categories:
- Pastor or Church Counselor
- School or Public Librarian
- Guidance Counselor/Counseling Staff
- Full-time Teacher
- School Principal
- School Superintendant
- Vice-Principal
- Administrator, Director or Faculty of a University or Seminary
- Embassy Education Officer
- Military Base Education Officer
- Human Resources Director or Manager
- Local college testing centers
Once you have identified an individual that you would like to be your exam proctor, the individual must complete a Proctor Certification Form and submit verification information. The form must be submitted at least one month prior to the first exam date. Once a proctor is approved by CBUS, there is no need to resubmit the Certification Form for each exam.
You must contact CBUS two weeks prior to your exam with your proctor, please email academics@cbusedu.org. In the email, provide your name, the proctor's name, the date you intend to take the exam, the course name, and whether the exam is a mid-term or final exam.
All exam materials will be sent directly to the proctor and completed exams must be sealed and mailed by the proctor back to CBUS with a signed Proctor Affidavit. The proctor must comply with the CBUS examination requirements documented on the affidavit.
