Minimum Credit Earned at CBUS
A minimum of 32 semester hours of credit earned through CBUS is required in the completion of a CBUS degree. When transfer credit is awarded, the 32 hours earned at CBUS must be in upper-division hours and non-elective hours in a program.
Transcripts
Transcripts are the official documents of higher education. Transcripts record all academic activity including course enrollment, semester hour credit, date of enrollment, academic load, completion grade, and GPA. Transcripts are available with a written and signed request, the $10 transcript fee, the address to which the transcript is to be sent, and the clearance of all academic balances.
Graduation Requirements
Undergraduate graduation requirements are fulfilled by completing the specific degree requirements: required courses, total semester hour requirements, a minimum GPA of 2.00 “C,” Christian service, and payment of all CBUS balances owed, including the graduation fee.
Graduate graduation requirements are fulfilled by completing the specific degree requirements: required courses, total semester hour requirements, a minimum GPA of 3.00 “B,” an updated pastoral recommendation of good standing in a local Protestant church, Christian service, and payment of all CBUS balances owed, including the graduation fee.
The student must petition CBUS for graduation at least one semester prior to completion so that academic requirement can be verified. This is the student’s responsibility. Attendance at graduation is highly recommended for these early years in the University’s development. Let us praise God together for the great things He has done.
